Q.05 What is the hardware technology?
Answer : Geotrack system is a unit fitted with a SIM card which uses GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM via satellites and transmits the position on a map on a continuous basis.
Q.06 Who will carry out the installation work of hardware unit/tracking unit?
Answer : Installation of Geotrack tracking unit will be done by our authorized dealer or by our service engineer.
Q.07 What is the warranty on the hardware unit?
Answer : If any of manufacturing defects found in the hardware unit, the complete unit will be replaced. The warranty of the unit will be for one year period from the date of purchase or installed (which comes earlier)
Q.08 Will my hardware run down the batteries on my vehicles?
Answer : No. When your vehicle is stopped for more than ten minutes, the unit goes into sleep mode. It requires very little power in this mode.
Q.09 Can I reinstall my hardware in another vehicle?
Answer : Yes– in this case, the minimum installation charges will be paid extra.
Q.10 What software do I require?
Answer : You do not require any software. You just need one internet enabled computer system where one of internet browser is installed. The password will be supplied by Geotrack/Aadi Consultancy Services to access the web application.
Q.11 Does purchase of hardware unit includes the purchase of web application or software?
Answer : No, it does not mean this. Software application or web application is available to you on hire basis, for that you are paying monthly charges. Software application is the property of Aadi Consultancy Services.

Route deviation-If the Fleet is to deliver from Calcutta to Jamshedpur the route is set, then any deviation would cause an alert to the management.

Communications with the Fleet-The management can talk to the driver or have two way communications where he can call the management.
