Cranes are often dispersed over a wide geographic area, often
operating in hard-to-reach off-road locations. Fleet Managers need to collect
utilization information from each machine in order to schedule timely
maintenance Services; to ensure effective Project Management; and for Billing
and Invoicing purposes. Unfortunately, present methods of collecting utilization
information from these hard-to-reach machines are typically manual,
time-consuming and often error-prone. As a result, many organizations lose a
significant portion of their asset's value due to wasted manpower,
under-utilization, faulty maintenance, and occasionally catastrophic failure.
GeotracK's Crain management application is a
cost-effective wireless monitoring solution that easily and efficiently manage
their out-of-sight assets.
GeotracK's Crain application consists of:
A monitoring unit (hardware item) installed inside or outside of the vehicle at
suitable place.
A web application to deliver asset location, tracking reports, maintenance
reports other MIS reports, Geofencing, and other GIS reports
System Alerts, reminders, notifications delivered by SMS or via voice call or
via e-mail.
Engine Run-Hour Reports: The GeotracK's
Crain management solution automatically reports each time the
crane is powered ON or OFF. The website accumulates and displays the up-to-date
Engine Run-Hour info for each machine. Key benefits include:
Ensure warranty compliance-Engine Run-Hour info enables timely
maintenance for each machine
Save manpower-eliminate the requirement to manually collect
hour-meter readings
Increase utilization efficiency-utilization info can help Fleet
Managers ensure efficient operation
Ensure accuracy- automated reports provide greater accuracy
Maintenance Reports / Reminders: GeotracK's
Crain management automatically issues 'Maintenance Due'
reminders to advise when each machine is due for Service.
Jobsite Utilization Reports: FleetLift crane management can
report each machine's utilization by Jobsite. Features include:
Create Custom Jobsites- Users can specify up to 99 custom
Jobsites.
Jobsite Utilization Reports by Asset-users can ascertain which
machines have been utilized at each Jobsite, and how many Engine Run-Hours each
machine accumulated at each Jobsite.
Asset Utilization Reports by Jobsite-users can identify at
which Jobsite each asset has been utilized, as well as when it was utilized at
each Jobsite, and how many Engine Run-Hours it accumulated at each Jobsite.
Real-Time Updates: Authorized users can collect up-to-the
minute updates from any machine, at any time.
Utilization Reports: FleetLift crane management provides
Utilization Reports to enable Fleet Managers to better understand how each
machine is being utilized.
Alert Notifications: FleetLift crane management provides
real-time Alert Notifications issued as text messages and/or as email messages.
Alert Notifications are available for:
Curfew violation-users can define a 'curfew' for each machine.
Each curfew violation will cause the system to report the event, and to
automatically track your machine's location.
GeoFence violation-users can define a virtual security
fence-called a GeoFence - around any machine. The size of the GeoFence can be
customized for each machine. Each GeoFence violation will cause the system to
automatically track your machine's location.
Low Battery notification-the crane management monitoring unit
will continually monitor the machine's battery level, and will issue a Low
Battery Alert Notification if the battery weakens.
Maintenance Due-users can specify different maintenance
intervals for each machine, and receive reminders when service is due.
Live Track- users can command the crane management monitoring
unit to automatically track its machine for a one-hour period, providing
location reports at five-minute intervals and displaying the machine's position
on a map.
PowerSave Mode (Radio Off)-twenty minutes after the engine has
been turned off, the crane management monitoring unit will turn off its GPS
receiver and enter its PowerSave mode to reduce its electrical draw. To retain
vigilance against theft, the unit will briefly turn on its GPS receiver every
sixty minutes to check its location. All alerts and regularly-scheduled reports
will continue while the unit is in PowerSave mode.
Back-up Battery-the monitoring unit includes a built-in backup
battery, which can send Battery Disconnect notifications if the main battery is
disconnected.
